Help for using this site

Some display problems are caused by the fact that the style sheet for the file containing information about formats, font sizes, background images, etc. has been changed, but the old file is still being read from the computer’s local memory. Simply reloading the file helps here: In most browsers, you can do this by pressing STRG+F5 In Opera and Safari with STRG+R.

Printing individual pages:

Each page of this homepage is designed in such a way that it can be printed without any problems. For some pages, it is recommended to print the background images as well, although this option should not be the default setting. If images are missing in the print preview, please select this option in your browser. The graphics are designed to have a light background even if the option “Print background images and colors” is activated in the browser.

The best printing result is achieved if the page scaling is set to 100% in “Page setup”, or in the print preview. The background option is also set there.

It is also possible that print files in PDF format with the summarized content of the respective chapter may be helpful.

Virtual Oscilloskope

Many circuit diagrams show test points that can be activated with the mouse pointer. A pop-up window appears with the oscilloscope image as it can be measured on real radar equipment. For these actions, “Javascript” must be activated in your browser (example given).

A link to this homepage

If you want to create a link from your homepage with a preview image to the “Radar Tutorial”, you can copy the following HTML sequence into your source code:

<a href="https://www.radartutorial.eu/index.en.html">
<img src="https://www.radartutorial.eu/pic/preview_new.png" width="160" height="100" alt="Radar Basics" style="margin-right:1em; float:left">
<b>Radar Basics</b></a> <i>by www.radartutorial.eu</i>
<br>Free learning material about radar techniques and technologies
<br><small>Homepage of a practitioner from 35 years of military professional experience;
<br>easy to understand with many pictures and animations.</small>

It will look something like this (text and background of course in the colors of your homepage):
