Akrep-D

Akrep-D (manufacturers designation: AKR-D) is operating in the X-band and Ka-band naval fire control radar. It automatically aligns with the target assignment received from the sensors or the radar operator, searches for the target, and takes target tracking with high precision.

Akrep-D is a replica of the STING radar system with Turkish-made components. It is a high-performance, fully indigenous system with electronic protection features that support the fire control capabilities of the weapon system in question. It can be combined with optical and infrared sensors. An extended version, called Block B2, can also provide target illumination radar for semi-active missiles.
