AMI 2700

The ATC-Radar AMI 2700 is operating in the S-Band air surveillance radar, dedicated for use on airports with high traffic intensity. The radar is designed to detect and determine the coordinates of aircraft in the area of the airfield. and has a built-in weather channel. It uses the advantages of frequency diversity and is equipped with a Mode S capable secondary radar.

The reflector of the parabolic antenna has a dimension of 5.39 × 3.09 m. The feed uses two horns to form the upper and lower beams. The reflector provides a cosecant squared pattern between 0.5 and 45 degrees in elevation.

The ATC-Radar AMI 2700 fully meets the latest ICAO and EUROCONTROL requirements. Interaction with the air traffic control center is carried out via ASTERIX protocol categories 48 (position of aircraft), and 8 (weather). The connection consists of either fiber optics or copper cable.
