PSR 2D
PSR 2D is operating in the S-Band air traffic control radar. It can be delivered in several transmitter versions and can be used as an air surveillance radar on airfields as well as an en-route radar with a range of more than 100 NM.
The antenna provides a cosecant squared pattern and uses the high-and-low-beam configuration. It transmits in low-beam only but has two independent receiver channels.
The radar has an additional weather channel with a resolution of 1,4°-0,95 NM and shows 6 levels rain information.
Indra’s PSR 2D is installed in Danish Royal Air Force bases of Skrydstrup, Karup and Aalborg, at Geneva and Zurich Airports, and at Istanbul New Airport in Turkey.
