Kashif 2
Kashif 2 (Persian: کاشف-2, “Explorer-2”) S-Band 2D medium-range air surveillance radar. It is a further development of its predecessor Kashif 1 with a solid-state transmitter, lighter antenna and increased range.
For transport, the antenna is turned until the boom with the horn radiator lies on the roof of the container. Then the antenna reflector is hinged backwards and the two side parts are folded down.
