AN/APY-12

AN/APY-12 “Phoenix Eye” is operating in the X-band airborne surveillance radar that provides high resolution, photographic-like imagery, even in inclement weather or darkness. This system is a long range, dual mode, synthetic aperture radar (SAR) with moving target indication capability.

APY-12 is used in DRAGON STAR Family of Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance aircraft.
