OPTIMARE Side-Looking Airborne Radar (SLAR) is an operating in X-band cloud-penetrating imaging radar for day & night airborne maritime surveillance. It is a real aperture radar with a thin beamwidth and is intended for use in a patrol aircraft. The altitude of operation is typically between 1,000 … 6,000 feet.
