Type 517M
Type 517M is operating in the VHF-Band early warning radar with the ability to locate stealth aircraft as well.
The radar uses the concept of its predecessors (the Type 317 and Type 517) but has better accuracy in angle determination due to the improved antenna. To visually distinguish Type 317 from Type 517M, note that on Type 517M, the center Yagi antennas are longer than the outer ones.
