GWSR
GWSR is operating in the X-Band specialized magnetron based coherent on receive radar as sensor for FutureWaves™, which provides detailed sea state measurements and forecasting of vessel motion response to waves.
The radar uses an end-fed waveguide slot antenna of 1.25 m length with vertical polarization and a fan beam pattern. Due to the very high pulse repetition frequency, the radar is specialized in velocity measurement and achieves a Doppler frequency resolution of 2 Hz.
