LCR-2020
LCR-2020 (Low Coverage Radar) is operating in the C-Band coastal surveillance radar. It is a frequency agile radar designed for both air and surface detection.
The advantages of this radar are its resistance to interference signals. The C-band offers better accuracy than the S-band but is not subject to the attenuation of weather like the X-band.
17 of LCR-2020 are in service providing coastal surveillance in the Republic of Korea, where they are locally designated as GPS-100.
