RS24

The RS24 is a K-band surveillance radar designed for use on small boats. It is designed to provide high levels of situational awareness in densely populated marine environments. However, by using the free ISM frequency band, it can also be used for other purposes without a specific permission.

The radar is a frequency modulated continuous wave radar with ultralinear modulation alteration. It can output radar images both to the RS24 Dashboard and also to third party applications which support the ASTERIX CAT-240 open data format.

The radome with the sensor has a diameter of 50 cm with a height of 40 cm. It uses an internal switching power supply and can therefore cope with international standard mains voltages.
