STR
STR (Silah Tespit Radarı, Weapon Detection Radar) is an operating in the S-Band mortar locating radar that detects mortar, artillery and rocket firing by enemy elements and precisely calculates the firing and drop location. The system has electronic scanning and silhouette tracking capabilities thanks to its active electronically scanning array (AESA) and DBF (Digital Beam Forming) structures.
