YLC-48
YLC-48 “Spider’s web” (蜘蛛网) is operating in the L-Band mortar locating radar. It is designed to locate and track down enemy mortar positions within a 360° field of detection and a range of around 10 kilometers. It can also detect low-flying aircraft within a range of up to 20 kilometers.
The radar unit is similar in shape and design to the AN/TPQ-48 of the US Army (even the numbering is the same).
