PSR 3D
PSR 3D is operating in L-Band ICAO and EUROCONTROL compatible three-dimensional measuring surveillance radar designed for the civil airport and en-route applications. It can be delivered with several transmitter configuration levels, which enable an adapted maximum range. The radar features a weather processor that provides weather information for safe air traffic control management.
The 3D PSR is a dual frequency radar simultaneously operating with two frequency channels. The antenna is a planar phased array with a dimension of 5.5 × 2.2 meters and consists of 16 linear rows. The digital control of the antenna patterns forms 7 different pencil beams each with a vertical beam width of 6°. The accuracy of the altitude measurement is 2 500 feet in 60 nautical miles.
