AN/TPQ-18
The AN/TPQ-18 is an instrumentation radar operating in C-Band for satellite orbit surveying.
The first radar was put into operation in 1962. In 1994, it received a significant upgrade by Diversified Technologies, Inc. and a new transmitter with 3 MW pulse power. The transmitter’s final stage is an Extended Interaction Klystron.
Three of these radars were produced only.
