AN/SPS-31(XN-1)

AN/SPS-31(XN-1) was operating in the UHF-band long-range surveillance radar. The developement started June 1956, only one prototype was produced and deployed on the USS Furse (DDR-882). The AN/SPS-40 was derived from this radar.
