PAR-2

PAR-2 was operating in the X-band Precision Approach Radar (PAR) built by Telefunken as license production of Bendix in 1953.

The single curved parabolic reflector provided a beamwidth of 3.4° × 0.6° for the azimuth-antenna and 0.6° × 3.2° for the elevation-antenna. Each antenna consisted basically of 200 dipoles, coupled to a waveguide of a length of 4.25 m.
