Mark 11

Mark 11 was operating in the S band range only radar to support the gun control system Mark 49 to control 40 mm antiaircraft guns.

The transmitter was mounted directly to the parabolic antenna with a horizontally polarized dipole feed. The transmitter used a factory-tuned fixed-frequency 8-cavity magnetron type 706AY to 706GY manufactured by Westinghouse. The range display was on a J-scope with a diameter of 3 inches.
