Mark 2

The Sperry Marine Radar Mark 2 was operating in the X-band medium range surface search radar.

The radar was fitted with a single curved parabolic reflector providing a fan beam pattern with a vertical beam width of 17 degrees.

It was used on almost all warships in the Royal Canadian Navy between 1950 and 1970. The Mk 2 was replaced by the Sperry Mk 127E after its life expiry.
