AN/APS-45
AN/APS-45 was operating in the X-band airborne nodding height finding radar used originally in Lockheed EC-121. The radar is mounted in the dorsal radome.
The transmitter uses the magnetron type QK-172, and the radar modulator the thyratron type 5622.
The AN/APS-45 was operational in 1955. It was later replaced by the higher-range AN/APS-103 (160 NM).
