AN/SPN-23
AN/SPN-23 (manufacturer’s designation: Model 320 Radar) was an operating in the X-Band surface surveillance and navigation radar. When used on minesweepers, the radar was designated AN/SPS-36.
The antenna was a 1 m wide waveguide slot antenna. Bearing angle and distance were displayed on a PPI scope with 7 inch diameter at scales of 1, 2, 5, 10, and 20 nautical miles.
The radar was launched around 1957.
