SCR-602 T1
SCR-602 T1 was an air surveillance radar operating in the VHF-Band during World War 2. The radar was able to measure distance, bearing angle, and an approximate elevation angle. It was a copy of the British AMES Type 6. Of this type, twenty-five copies were manufactured by the company Research Enterprises Limited (REL) Toronto. Licensed production of the SCR-602-T1 radar in the United States was carried out by Eitel-McCullough, Inc. in San Bruno, California. It was the basis for further radar developments in the U.S. Army Signal Corps.
