LW-01
Das LW-01 (from Dutch L ucht w aarschuwingsradar, air warning radar) was operating in the L-Band long-range air search radar designed for larger ships.
The parabolic reflector was 11 m wide, 4.88 m high and weighed 1.45 metric tons. Two wind deflectors were mounted on the rear side. The transmitter used the type 5J26 magnetron.
The LW-01 was developed between 1949 and 1952. The manufacturers internal designator was SGR-114/06. It was used on board the postwar Dutch cruisers and on board the sole Dutch Aircraft carrier.
