AN/SPN-22

The AN/SPN-22 was a navigation radar operating in X-band suitable also for smaller ships and boats.

The antenna offered an antenna gain of 28 dBi and consisted of a single-curved, cylindrical parabolic reflector with dimensions of about 1 foot high by 4⅙ feet wide, which was fed by a waveguide slot antenna. The vertical half-width is reported to be 20°. The largest side lobe had an attenuation of -25 dB.
