Type 16/24
AMES Type 16 is operating in the VHF-Band radar used by the Royal Airforce to direct fighter operations. It is composed of a Type 7 GCI radar and a co-mounted parabolic antenna with a diameter of 24 feet.
The Type 24 used a 30 feet parabolic array mounted on the Type 7 rotation gear.
