AN/CPS-2
AN/CPS-2 was operating in UHF-Band medium-range early warning radar. It was combined with the IFF-Interrogator RC-184 ( IFF Mark Ⅲ).
The radar was designed in 1944/45. The relatively large frequency range was intended to increase immunity to interference. The first set was operational in 1947. It worked in conjunction with the height finder AN/TPS-10. The radar was declared as “air-transportable”, but this procedure was never realized.
