PS-16/F
PS-16/F is operating in the VHF-Band air surveillance radar. It is a derivate of the british Type 960 naval radar. The antenna was mounted on a 20 to 25 meter high mast. The transmitter was a self-exited oscillator and an amplifier stage, each consisting of two air-cooled triode tubes of type CV240.
The radar was developed in 1949. It was operational in the Swedish Airforce up to 1965 and was replaced by PS-65 then.
