TA-23
TA-23 is operating in the L-Band long-range Terminal Area Radar (TAR). In Sweden, this radar type got the designator PS-65. These radars are derived from the LP-23 radar, they differ from the LP-23 equivalents only in the antenna assemblies. TA-23 uses the cheaper parabolic reflector antenna G-7 from Selenia. There were also optional different horn radiator configurations and antenna masts.
Like the LP-23, the TR-23 may be delivered with two transmitter versions. TR-23M is magnetron-powered and TR-23K is klystron-powered.
These radars were operational between 1965 and 1993.
