AN/GPN-6
AN/GPN-6 is a mobile Terminal Area Radar (TAR) for operation in S-Band.
The antenna is a single-curvature parabolic reflector that produces a fam beam pattern. The dimensions of the reflector are 96 × 48 inches (2,44 × 1,22 m). Two large wind deflectors are mounted on the back of the reflector for better distribution of a wind load. The radar equipment is housed in two trailers and a three-axle truck on which the two diesel generators were loaded.
This radar was designed in the late 1950s.
