AN/FPS-36
AN/FPS-36 is operating in the L-Band air surveillance radar. It is a modified AN/TPS-1D with a larger (40 × 11 feet) antenna, modified transmitter and receiver, and larger displays to achive a maximum range beyond 200 nautical miles.
The transmitter uses the magnetron type 5J26. The AN/FPS-36 features an MTI system.
