AN/SPS-21
AN/SPS-21 was small and lightweight, operating in C-Band, short range surface surveillance and navigation radar designed for installation in small vessels.
The transmitter is of magnetron type self-excited oscillator. The paraboloidal reflector is 93 inches wide and 22 inches high and fed by a pyramidal horn providing linear horizontal polarization.
The first AN/SPS-21 radars were installed in 1954-1955.
