AN/FPN-62
AN/FPN-62 was a precision approach radar (PAR) operating in X-Band. It is an updated version of AN/FPN-16 in which new electronics have been substituted for older, more difficult to maintain hardware. The original split elevation and azimuth antennas are retained. The antennas are reflectors with electronically scanned phased-array feeds.
The prototype was produced in 1976. Approximately 40 radars were produced.
