JTPS-P9
JTPS-P9 is operating in the L-Band air surveillance radar specifically designed to detect low-flying targets.
The radar is mounted in a container with the external dimensions of a standard 10-foot container. The antenna can be extended to a height of 7 m by a hydraulic mast. The transmitter uses a traveling wave tube as a power amplifier.
The radar was commissioned in 1979. It was replaced by the more mobile JTPS-P18.
