NMD-451
NMD-451 was operating in S band weather radar.
NMD-451 was Japan’s first weather radar. It was developed in 1950 and put into service in 1955. The radar set has been proved to be highly effective in tests at the Meteorological Research Institutes in Tokyo and Osaka.
