9ZW
9ZW was operating in S-Band height finder radar.
The radar used as frequency diversity radar two transmitters, which transmitted successively in a frequency spacing of 50 MHz. The radar had the following operating modes:
- Mode Ⅰ: Searching at 10 revolutions per minute with a spiral elevation scan;
- Mode Ⅱ: classical manual height measurement with manually adjusted azimuth angle; measurement of approx. 6 targets per minute;
- Mode Ⅲ: semi-automatic (auto-lock) height measurement, manual target assignment, automatic measurement process, 15 expected measurement results of 15 different targets per minute. The antenna feed worked with conical scan for target tracking.
