AN/FPS-71
AN/FPS-71 was operating in L-Band air surveillance and acquisition radar used as Alternate Battery Acquisition Radar (ABAR) at some Nike missile sites. ABAR means: This radar was used instead of the originally planned HIPAR for cost reasons.
The double-curved parabolic reflector has a wide of 40 feet. Its vertical beam width was 6.2 degrees.
