Type 6
The AMES Type 6 alias “Light Warning Set” (LWS) was operating in VHF-Band surveillance radar during the World War II. It was a British equivalent of the American SCR-602-T1.
The radar was fitted with an identification kit RC-192 (IFF) Mk.3, in Figure 1 the vertical omnidirectional antenna.
