AN/MPS-4
AN/MPS-4 was operating in C-Band mobile height finder.
The MPS-4 height-finder was operational in 1952. Its height determination was not adapted to the curvature of the earth, whereby the error became too large with increasing range. It was replaced by the AN/MPS-16 end of the 1950s and was then often used for meteorological experiments.
