MR-212
MR-212 (NATO-designator “Palm Frond”; Russian designator: «Vaygach-U», Cyrillic: МР-212 «Вайгач-У» ) is operating in the X-Band short-range surface search and navigation radar developed in the late 1970s. It is still in operation on Russian and Ukrainian ships.
The radar uses a pulsed magnetron as transmitter. The antenna is the same as by the predecessor MR-201-1 «Najada-M», Cyrillic: МР-201 «Наяда-М».
