Type 1002
Type 1002 is an operating in X-Band submarine radar designed to give combined surface and air warning, together with an accurate ranging facility.
Two different antennas can be used: Type AKU(3) or AKS(2). The radar can be used in either 360° rotation or sector mode. The targets are displayed on a PPI scope and on an A-scope for more accurate range finding.
