S 712

The S 712 is an operating in S-Band surveillance radar for air defence. It is practically a downgraded version of the S 711 without the expensive hydraulic mast, a smaller antenna and without the possibility to change the polarization.

The antenna used a single curved parabolic reflector and was mounted directly on the shelter with the radar electronics. It provided a simple fan beam pattern with a vertical beam width of 8 degrees.
