SATRAPE

SATRAPE (Système d’altimétrie tridimensionnel à poursuite électronique) was a French height finder operating in S band.

First SATRAPE height-finding radars were installed and placed in service in 1978. The prototype were installed on the French Air Base in Mont-de-Marsan between 1970 and 1974.
