Argos 45

Argos 45 is operating in the C-band low-altitude tactical air defense radar. The radar can be used as a low-altitude reporting post, as a gap filler in an air defense network, a tactical command post for the control of air support tactical missions, and a designation center for man-portable missiles and anti-aircraft artillery.

The transmitter is a fully coherent amplifier using a traveling wave tube as final stage. The antenna is a planar array providing a cosecant squared antenna pattern.
