DA 01

DA 01 (abbreviation of Dutch words: Doels Aanwijzing, i.e. target indication) was operating in S band air and sea surveillance radar for medium-range surveillance and target indication. The low weight of the antenna system enables installation in smaller ships.

The antenna is a parabolic reflector fed by an H-plane Sectoral Horn. It provides a Cosecant squared pattern. The transmitter used a magnetron.

The radar was developed in the mid-1950s. The export version of the DA 01 was named SGR 105/04.
