ELM-2228X - SGRS

ELM-2228X - SGRS (Surveillance & Gunnery Radar System) is operating in the X-band lightweight fully coherent pulse Doppler, multimode air/surface surveillance and gunnery radar. It is capable of performing accurate gunnery spotting while scanning against surface targets. The radar can be applied as a search and fire-control sensor aboard small- and medium-sized vessels while in larger applications it can be used to compliment long-range surveillance and fire-control emitters. EL/M-2228X has a 100 air/surface target track-while-scan capability. It is equipped with a stabilized turntable for 20 degrees roll and pitch.

The transmitter uses a traveling wave tube as a final power amplifier stage. The antenna provides a Cosecant squared pattern up to an elevation of 30 degrees.
