AN/APG-30

AN/APG-30 is operating in X-Band lightweight, airborne, radar fire control system for range-only measurement. The antenna is a simple horn feed installed in the upper lip of the nose. The radar continuously supplied target range information to a range servomechanism for operation and control of a lead-computing gunsight system. It was used in B-45, B-57, F-4E, F-8A, F-84E, F-86A (final blocks only), F-86E/F, F-100, FJ-2, and F2H-2.
