KASPR
KASPR (Ka-band Scanning Polarimetric Radar) is operating in the Ka-Band compact and solid state scanning polarimetric radar for mobile and fixed site applications. (An older version used a 2.2 kW peak power 5% duty cycle Extended Interaction Klystron.) The antenna uses a 1.8 m diameter parabolic dish antenna with dish-dome. All the radar electronics are housed in two dry air pressurized, thermoelectric cooled/heated enclosures mounted on the pedestal side arms.
