AN/SPQ-9A

AN/SPQ-9A is operating in the X-Band surface search radar. The antenna is mounted on a stabilized platform and protected by a radome. The radar operates in any one of five selectable frequency ranges, with pulse-to-pulse frequency agility as countermeasure to jamming and fixed or sea clutter. It uses intrapulse modulation and pulse compression.
