Manufacturer:     Siemens

The DR-151 is a mobile low-level surveillance D-Band (1200 to 1400 MHz) radar with a range of 45 km. Other improvements have been made in features such as signal processing, Electronic Protective Measures (EPM) proofing and mechanical design. The system is mounted on one 10-tonne truck and is equipped with an 18 m extensible antenna mast. The new transmitter has technical features such as 90 selectable channels, pulse expansion by digital pulse expander, and pulse compression by SAW- filters. The signal processing includes features such as 12-bits dynamic range, discrete Fourier transformation, target extraction by amplitude quotient procedure, and helicopter/fixed-wing aircraft distinction.
