FlaRakPanzer ROLAND

The ROLAND anti-aircraft missile tank system is a Franco-German development. Introduced in 1981, the ROLAND anti-aircraft missile tank’s mission is to protect mechanized troops, their installations and important objects against attacks from the air. Enemy aircraft can be engaged at altitudes of up to 4000 meters and distances of up to 6000 meters. The crew consists of three soldiers.
